Yearly Review Worksheet (Free Printable)

An end of year reflection worksheet for 2026, on one page: five wins, five lessons, three things to leave behind, a quick 1–10 rating of eight life areas, three questions about what carries into 2027, and a four-box recap of the year's quarters. Print it, fill it by hand, and start 2027 from what happened instead of from a mood. The full 21-page New Year 2027 Reset Planner is on Getly, linked at the bottom.

How to use this page: print it and set aside 20 minutes before you write a single 2027 goal. Review first, goals second. A review you skip is how January ends up copying last January with new dates on it.

Looking back at 2026: wins first

Big and small both count. If it taught you something, it counts too.

Read the list top to bottom before you plan anything. The wins tell you what you are already good at, and next year's goals should start from there, not from zero.

Lessons and let-go

Lessons are wins with tuition. Write them where you will see them again.

What I leave behind in 2026

habits, worries and commitments that do not come along. Cross them off here so you stop carrying them.

The leave-behind list is not a failure list. It is the price of the lessons above it, paid once, in writing, so the same tuition is not charged twice.

Rate the eight life areas

Score each area from 1 to 10 for how the year went, then write one word that sums it up. The rating records the year you had: a 4 in money shows where 2027 work belongs, and a 7 you were happy with is equally useful to know.

Area1–10One word
Health energy, sleep, movement
Money income, spending, debt
Work job, craft, business
Relationships people who matter
Home the space you live in
Learning skills and study
Fun play and hobbies
Spirit quiet, meaning, thanks

These are the same eight areas the goal setting pages use, so a low score here converts directly into a goal there.

What to carry into 2027

Three questions, answered in writing while 2026 is still fresh.

1. Which win from the list above do you want to build on, and what is the next small step?

2. Which lesson changes how you start 2027, and where does that show up first?

3. What from the leave-behind list needs a standing rule so it stays gone?

The year in four boxes

Two lines per quarter: what happened, and what it changed. Four boxes take the whole year down to half a page, which is about the right size for a recap.

Want the whole review, plus the year that follows it?

The 21-page New Year 2027 Reset Planner picks up where this worksheet ends: a two-page 2026 reflection (ten wins, one proud moment, ten lessons, five things to leave behind), the word of the year with three reasons and 12 weekly check-ins, the eight-area goal setting pages, 66-day grids for three habits, five January weekly plans, a budget reset with 25 rows, a 20-area declutter checklist, four quarterly review pages, and a 2027 at-a-glance milestones page. It comes in A4 and US Letter, mint and charcoal, typographic and clean. If you would rather set goals first and review on your own schedule, start with the free new year goals template instead.
