Wedding Timeline Checklist (Free Printable, 2 Pages)

A two-page wedding timeline checklist you can print free: page 1 is the day-of schedule with eight write-in rows, page 2 holds the month-before and week-before boxes. Nothing is pre-filled, because your ceremony start, your photo list, and the distance between your locations set the times. Print it from this page (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P), and if you're further out than a month, start with the 12-month planning checklist instead.

Four opinions on filling it in

  1. (Opinion.) Buffer every travel block. Give each drive between locations fifteen minutes more than the trip takes on a normal day. Guests and wedding parties travel slower than Google Maps thinks, and one late arrival moves every row after it.
  2. (Opinion.) Circle an owner before you write a time. Rows without a circled owner are the ones nobody does. Settling us-volunteer-venue first also tells you who to hand copies to.
  3. (Opinion.) Build the week box out of the month box. Whatever didn't get crossed out a month out moves onto the four week lines in priority order. Adding fresh items to the week box means the month box failed silently.
  4. (Opinion.) Pencil for page 2, pen for page 1, two days out. The month and week lists shift as replies close and plans firm up. The day-of rows only get inked once, near the end, then the sheet goes to everyone with a circled job.

What this sheet does and doesn't do

This is a scheduling sheet: two pages, a pen, and nothing tracked. Crossing out a line doesn't update a count, and it doesn't sum costs or count RSVPs.
