Subscription Tracker, Free to Print

Every recurring charge you agreed to, on two pages. This subscription tracker printable is a monthly subscription list template you can print free: page 1 holds 12 write-in rows, one per service, each with a cost line, a renewal day to circle, and a keep/cancel circle. Page 2 turns the same list into an annual-cost recap, runs an unused-service check, and leaves 4 lines for cancellation notes. The sheet records; the circles stay yours.

How to use this page: print both pages at 100% scale (the site chrome drops out on paper). Fill page 1 one service at a time, from the statement or the app's subscription page, not from memory: write the service, write the cost, circle the day it renews. Leave the keep/cancel circle for after page 2, where the annual recap and the unused check give that circle something to stand on. Reprint page 1 when 12 rows run out.

One row per service, copied from a statement or the app's subscription page. The circle is the day the charge lands, month after month; annual renewals keep the same day, once a year.

Annual recap, unused check, cancellation notes

What a year of this list costs, which rows went quiet, and how each one lets go.

Annual-cost recap — 6 rows

ServiceCost each chargeCharges per yearCost per year

Cost per year = cost each charge × charges per year. Monthly services take 12, annual ones take 1, quarterly take 4. Copy the services straight off page 1.

Unused check — when did you last use it?

Pick the three services you reach for least. Write the last date you actually used each one. A line you cannot date is an answer too: the charge follows its schedule whether or not you open the app.

Cancellation notes — 4 lines

Service:Steps:

Every service cancels its own way: a settings page, an email, a phone call. Write the steps once, while the account is open, and the cancel circle turns into a task.

This sheet lists services you already pay for, the days they renew, and the calls you make about them. It holds no advice on which ones to keep or cancel; the circles record your call, they do not make it.

Fits A4 and US Letter at 100%. Grayscale prints fine.

Four opinions on running a subscription list

  1. (Opinion.) Fill the renewal circle the day after you sign up. The confirmation email is still at the top of the inbox, the renewal terms are one scroll away, and the circle takes ten seconds. A renewal day written weeks later gets guessed from memory, and a guessed day misses the one morning it matters.
  2. (Opinion.) Do the annual-cost recap before filling any keep/cancel circle. A monthly cost reads small because it is a monthly number; the recap multiplies it into the year, and the year is what the keep-or-cancel circle is about. Deciding from the monthly figure skips the only row built for the decision.
  3. (Opinion.) Run the unused check on the same day each month. Charges follow a schedule, so usage checks should too: three lines on page 2, same day, same pen. A check that happens whenever you remember happens rarely, and the services you forgot about stay forgotten.
  4. (Opinion.) Write the cancellation steps while the account is still open. Portal, email, or phone differs per service, and the steps are cheapest to write the moment you are logged in. The 4 lines on page 2 exist so the decision and the doing land on the same sheet.

What this page is

A subscription list, a renewal calendar, and a place for the calls you make about both. It records services, costs as your statements print them, renewal days, and the keep-or-cancel circles you fill; it predicts nothing, prices nothing, and recommends nothing. Nothing on this page is financial advice. What the sheet does is keep the whole list in one visible place, so the next renewal on it is a charge you looked at on purpose.

Where the spreadsheet fits

Paper answers what you pay for and when. The Personal Budget Tracker workbook answers the next one: where each charge lands in the month, what each spending category holds, and what a savings goal needs to fill. Its Transactions sheet ships a ready-made Subscriptions category, so the rows you circle keep log in one place. Verbatim from the product README:

A one-workbook personal budgeting system for Excel and Google Sheets: log daily income and expenses with dropdowns, read the month-by-month picture on a dashboard that computes itself, hold each category to a monthly budget, and watch three savings goals fill up.
