Food money, four weeks at a time, on two pages. This grocery budget tracker is a food budget template free to print: page 1 holds 4 weekly rows, each with a budget cell, a spent cell and a left cell, all write-in. Page 2 splits the same month into 6 food categories (produce, protein, dairy, pantry, frozen, other) and adds a 3-line price book for the items you price-check. The sheet records what you planned and what the receipts say; the numbers stay yours.
How to use this page: print both pages at 100% scale (the site chrome drops out on paper). On page 1, write each week and its budget before you shop; copy spent from the receipts at week's end; subtract by hand for left. On page 2, keep the 6 categories as they print or cross one out and write your own, and use the price book for items you buy often. Reprint the whole set each month.

One row per week. Write the week (Week 1, the dates, whatever you call it), the budget before you shop, spent from the receipts after, and left as budget minus spent, in your own handwriting.

Categories and price book
Where the month's food money went, item by kind, and what the stores charge.

Six generic rows, pen-ready. Cross one out and write your own if your store splits differently; the rows record whatever you sort into them.
Price book — 3 lines
Three items you buy every week, the store that sells them, and the price as the shelf tag prints it. Next month, the same three lines show what moved.
This sheet records weeks, categories, and the prices your stores charge. It holds no advice on how much anyone should spend on food; the cells copy your numbers, they do not supply them.
Fits A4 and US Letter at 100%. Grayscale prints fine.
A grocery tracker and a price book. It records weeks, categories, receipts, and shelf prices; it predicts nothing, prices nothing, and recommends nothing. Nothing on this page is financial advice. What the sheet does is put the whole month of food spending on two pages you can hold, so the next trip starts from numbers you wrote down instead of ones you are recalling.
Paper answers the month in front of you. The Personal Budget Tracker workbook answers the next one: where each grocery row lands across the whole budget, what every category holds month after month, and what the receipts add up to without hand subtraction. Its Categories sheet keeps monthly budget next to actual per category, and its Transactions sheet logs each purchase with a dropdown category over 100 pre-wired rows. Verbatim from the product README:
A one-workbook personal budgeting system for Excel and Google Sheets: log daily income and expenses with dropdowns, read the month-by-month picture on a dashboard that computes itself, hold each category to a monthly budget, and watch three savings goals fill up.
