Personal Brand Starter Checklist

Eight foundation steps, one voice box, one consistency table. Fill it in once, keep it next to where you post. Every blank is a write-in: this page works on paper or in a notes app.

How to use it: do the checklist top to bottom in one sitting, about 30 minutes. The voice box takes longer than it looks, so leave it for last. The consistency table is a suggestion to copy, edit the cells until it fits your week.

Foundation checklist (8 steps, write yours in)

StepWrite yours in
Pick 3 topics you will post about. Three, so you never open a blank composer and freeze.
Write a one-line bio: who you help and what you post.
Pick one handle. Same spelling everywhere, short enough to say out loud.
Set one avatar. Same crop everywhere, face or logo fills the frame.
Pin one post that answers "what is this account for?" in two sentences.
List the platforms you will actually show up on. Cross the rest out.
Save 3 reusable post shapes: announcement, quote, stat.
Pick a posting slot you could keep on your worst week, not your best one.

Content-voice box (3 lines)

Voice is what makes two accounts on the same topic read differently. Write these three lines, then reread them before you post anything.

1. My reader, in their words:
2. Words I never use:
3. One post I'd write even if nobody read it:

Consistency table (a starting point, edit it)

This is the rhythm I'd start with. The actions are opinions about what keeps an account alive, not rules any platform enforces.

WhenActionWhy it earns the slot
Daily (5 min)Reply to a few comments or messages.Keeps the account feeling staffed. (Opinion.)
WeeklyPost 2-3 times from your 3 topics.Enough to find out what your reader responds to. (Opinion.)
MonthlyReread the month's posts, keep or cut one topic.Stops you from grinding a topic nobody reads. (Opinion.)

4 opinion tips

  1. One platform first. (Opinion.) Run one account well before opening a second. A handle you claimed everywhere still only needs feeding on one platform for the first months.
  2. Stay on your 3 topics for a full quarter. (Opinion.) A month is too short to judge a topic. Three months of posts gives you something real to keep or cut.
  3. Reply beats broadcast. (Opinion.) A thoughtful reply on someone else's post does more for your name than a tenth post into your own quiet feed.
  4. Write the bio for the reader, not for yourself. (Opinion.) "I post X for Y" beats a clever tagline. People scan, they don't decode.

What this page is

This is a generic personal-brand craft checklist: foundation mechanics, a voice exercise, a consistency starting point. It is not a growth-hack guide. Nothing on this page predicts follower counts, reach, or engagement on any platform, and no tip here is tied to how any feed algorithm ranks posts. The four tips and the table rows marked (Opinion.) are opinions. We are not affiliated with any platform or editing tool mentioned.

Where the templates fit

Once the checklist is filled in, most of the weekly posting work is layout: putting your words on a card that looks like it belongs to your account. That is the boring half, and it is the part templates solve. The verbatim product description from the Social Pack page:

40 social media templates for web3 projects. Post them as-is or overlay your own text. Dark theme, three accent colors, placeholders marked with [brackets].

What you get:

The 30 squares: 10 announcements (launch, partnership, milestone, AMA, airdrop-scam warning, hiring, event, weekly recap, honest missed-milestone, bug fix), 10 quote cards with an @handle placeholder, 5 stat cards (TVL, holders, transactions, active wallets, uptime), 5 poll frames.

License: "Personal and commercial use, including client work. You may edit the templates freely and post the results anywhere. Do not resell or redistribute the pack or any image as-is. Attribution not required."
