Matchbook Labs / free prayer journal template
One page you print and fill in by hand: three gratitude lines, one prayer focus, a verse to copy out, six reflection lines. Below it, a tracker for answered prayers and a log for verses you're memorizing. Nothing to install, no app, no account.
How to use it: print the page once per day, or once per sitting if daily is too much. The boxes are write-in on purpose. The verse slot takes whatever you're reading, in whatever wording you use; the page stays out of it.
Works on A4 and US Letter. For a reusable binder copy, print one and trace the layout onto cardstock.
The verse slot is write-in, so the page works with any translation, a psalm fragment, a proverb, or a line from something else you're reading.
Most people pray, get an answer weeks later, and never connect the two. This table closes that gap. Write the request when you make it, come back and fill the answered column when it happens. The same come-back-and-log habit, pointed at a goal instead, is the 90-day challenge tracker. Two example rows, made up, to show the format.
| # | Date asked | Request | Date answered |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sep 02 | Quiet morning before the big meeting | Sep 04 |
| 2 | Sep 05 | Word from the landlord about the lease | — |

Row 2 stays open on purpose. Some answers take months, and the open row is the reminder. When the page fills up, start a new one and keep the old pages; they read differently a year later.
Ten slots for verses you're learning by heart. Write the reference when you start, the date when you can say it without looking. Made-up first row to show the format.
| # | Reference | First words | Memorized on |

One verse at a time beats ten half-learned ones. Slot 2 stays empty until slot 1 is dated.
For days when you sit down and nothing comes. Pick one, write the answer on the reflection lines.
| 1 | Write three gifts from today, however small they feel. A parking spot counts. |
| 2 | Name the decision you keep putting off, in one plain sentence. |
| 3 | List five ordinary things you used today without noticing them. |
| 4 | What would you say to a friend carrying the exact worry you're carrying? |
| 5 | Write the thank-you you never sent. Say the whole thing here. |
