Fantasy Football Draft Board Printable (Free 12-Team Template)

A blank draft board template for 12 teams and 15 rounds, set up to print on one landscape page. Write the manager names across the top, fill the cells as picks land, and hang it where the whole room can see. Below the board you get a pick tracker legend, a keeper rules write-in box, an 8-item prep checklist, and four draft-day tips. Printing costs one sheet of paper; Ctrl+P (Cmd+P on Mac), pick landscape. No download, no sign-up.

How to use this page: print landscape, one board for the room and one next to your laptop. The board and its legend fit a single landscape page; the keeper box, checklist, and tips print after it. For the night before, the free draft cheat sheet template covers tiering your rankings. A full 12-team × 15-round kit with position cheat sheets, an auction tracker, and season-long sheets is linked at the end.

Draft Board Template — 12 Teams × 15 Rounds

Each column is a team, each row is a round: 180 pick cells on one page. In a snake draft, even rounds run reversed (team 12 picks first in round 2), which the round numbers mark. First name or last name only fits the cells best.

180 cells on one landscape page. Print a second copy for auction leagues and write winning bids next to each name.

Pick Tracker Legend

Agree on the marks before round 1 so the board reads the same to everyone in the room.

Name struck throughPick confirmed. Write the name when the pick is announced, cross it out when the next pick starts. The gap between those two moments is where skipped picks get caught.
K + roundKeeper. Write the K, then the round cost: K7 means kept at the price of a 7th-round pick.
On your target list. Circle these on your own board the night before, not during the draft.
FFade. A player you keep passing on at his price. Mark him so you stop re-litigating the same name in round 9.
$22Auction leagues: write the winning bid next to the name so the room can read the market as it moves.

Keeper Rules Write-In Box

League rules live in a settings page nobody opens mid-draft. Copy them onto the board once and the arguments end before they start.

Keeper Rules — write yours in

Keepers allowed per team:
Round cost:(common default: the round the player was picked in last year)
Deadline to declare keepers:
Same player can be keptyears in a row
Keepers can be traded:Y / NTrade-back allowed:Y / N

Copy the exact wording from your league's settings page. Paraphrasing a rule is how two managers end up both certain they are right.

Draft-Day Prep Checklist — 8 Items

Sort these before the first pick and draft day runs itself. Print the list, tape it next to the board.

4 Draft-Day Tips (Opinions)

Opinions, not rules. Learned running boards in rooms that argue about everything.

Read the pick order out loud twice

Snake order is where draft-day confusion comes from, and one read-through hides the team that picks last in round 1 and first in round 2. Read it twice, slowly. Ten seconds each saves ten minutes of "wait, whose pick is it?"

Write the name, then cross it

Crossing names from memory at pick 40 is how a taken player stays available on your board. Write when the pick is announced, cross when the next one starts. A board that lies about who is available is worse than no board.

Announce your pick so the room hears it

Half of draft-day dead time is two managers waiting for each other to notice a pick happened. Say the name out loud, then write it down. The tracker stays honest and the clock keeps moving.

Stand up after round 8

Rounds 9 through 12 are where tired managers draft for needs they invented an hour ago. A two-minute break, some water, back to the chair. That reset saves more value than any ranking tweak you could make in the same two minutes.
